Hi people!
Hope today finds you well!! THANKS for taking a sec to read my blog. As you can see from the title I've decided to log out of my Facebook for a while...
WHY??? Why step out of social networking?!?!? How will I survive not checking in every day?? 5 times a day... 10 times a day?? ahaaaa.. checkin in on what everyones up to... and letting the world know what im doing. NOT that this will be easy, in fact I know it wont.... I LOVE keeping up with everyone so easily.
REASONS-
1) Im entering a new exciting season in my music ministry.... beginning to open the vault of my heart and soul on writing new things. New songs... a new book... & more. As this begins, I feel as if the Lord is leading me to cut some distractions.... ie Facebook
2) As I start to look at new ways to communicate with the Almighty Creator of the universe... I sense and learn more and more, we exist for HIS GLORY.... sites like FB lure me into thinking the universe, all the planets even actually revolve around little ole me, and my little ups and downs.... well.... drum rollll pleeeaaassee.... thats bull. THE UNIVERSE DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND ME!! SHOCKER!!! I have received a personal wake up call in life to be separated to call on Christ more.
3) If I wanna kick out another boring CD that sounds like everyone else... easy. BUT If I truly find myself near the heart of God, thats when ( I pray ) good things will come... personally and musically too.
OK thats it! : )
Id love to hear your thoughts on it! PLEASE know that ill be logging in every now and again to just briefly post a video message of whats up... new exciting things... starting to work with a radio promoter too, we'll see where that leads.
HIS blessings to you today-- not more stuff, not success, not prosperity, not popularity, but I pray more MORE of JESUS Christ in your life today.
Holla at me old school- email!! hahaaa
MUCH LOVE!!
I'd say it's a good choice for you, and the place you're at. If God says, "Do it", who are we to judge? It's just fb. We'll be here when you get back... and we'll be waiting to hear some great music. God Bless, and prosperity on your new endeavor.
